Innovative WAP Projects & Pilots

Weatherization has historically been a leader in innovation in the home energy efficiency sector. From learning and developing proper air sealing techniques, proper training and credentialing, state of the art tools and techniques and now renewable energies. The historic investment in weatherization from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) has offered this network another opportunity to develop the next phase of home energy efficiency. It has also allowed us to consider some of the barriers to implementing good work such as finding and training workers, ensuring that we incorporate equity in our program and addressing the needs for electrification. Come to this session and learn about the innovative work your peers are doing with BIL to move weatherization into the future and increase the impact of weatherization amongst low-income populations.
