Adam Romano is the Director of Training and Technical Services at the Association for Energy Affordability, Inc. Adam manages the operation of AEA’s Energy Management Training Center, and represents AEA on national committees and working groups, developing standards and work specifications for jobs performed by professionals in the energy efficiency industry. He has focused on providing solutions to environmental and sustainability challenges by bringing new technologies, materials, and construction practices to customers seeking to achieve the deepest possible energy savings. In addition to his role managing AEA’s training department, Adam manages the delivery of technical services and specializes in conducting building energy audits and energy analysis, developing HVAC and control retrofit specifications, and providing in-field construction oversight. Adam is also actively engaged in providing consulting and technical support for architects, engineers, and contractors seeking to deliver small home, multifamily, and commercial passive house projects.
