Amanda Rains

Amanda Rains is the Senior Policy Analyst for the Weatherization Assistance Program at the Department of Energy. Before joining DOE in September 2022, she worked for the Washington State Department of Commerce for 15 years administering federal and state grants for programs ranging from crime victim services to low-income weatherization. Amanda has over 8 years’ experience with the weatherization program and served as the Senior Evaluation and Program Supervisor before leaving Commerce. Amanda has a master’s degree in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College.
