Franklin Energy
Dover, Delaware
Angie Bivens is an Outreach Manager with Franklin Energy overseeing the marketing, outreach and management of an income-qualified program in Delaware. This program gives Angie a platform to educate 1,000s of families and individuals per year about ways to save money and take control of their energy usage. Since starting off in the Energy Education field over 5 years ago, Angie has grown to obtain BPA certification as a Building Analyst Professional. Her degree in Visual Communications has been a foundation to create workshops for various age groups on multiple social platforms. Recently, Angie was recognized as one of Delaware’s Top Women in Business, received the Emerging Professional of the Year by the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) and additional rewards for her community engagement including 2023 Community Partner of the Year from Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity. In addition to work, Angie has a focus on energy equity in Delaware and this year has joined as a voting member on the Environmental Justice & Energy Equity Workgroup of the Governor’s Energy Advisory Council.
