Dan Auer, Project Manager for Multifamily Weatherization at King County Housing Authority, is actively engaged in the building energy conservation industry in the Puget Sound region and has been for well over thirty years. Dan has worked with Snohomish Public Utility District, Seattle City Light, and private energy auditing firms in the Seattle area. For the last three decades Dan has worked with the Department of Energy's Low Income Weatherization program as a multifamily energy auditor at King County Housing Authority, serving the suburban Seattle area with a focus on low rise multifamily buildings. He participates in Washington State's development of Multifamily weatherization, contributes on the development of the National Standard Work Specifications and collaborates with Puget Sound Energy and Clear Result on the development of a effective, robust multifamily contractors association. Dan is certified with the Building Performance Institute and manages three full time energy auditors.
