Melissa has over 20 years’ experience in the electric utility industry. She is a program manager for TVA’s EnergyRight® for the Home group. She currently serves in the role of supporting the Home Uplift Program (HUP-Low Income) partnership between TVA and Local Power Companies (LPC). In this role, Melissa manages Home Energy Workshops that provide energy-saving tips and techniques for homeowners that might benefit from the HUP as well. Among other initiatives, she also partners with LPCs to celebrate HUP project milestones through local events that promote the program in their communities to help garner interest and applications.

Melissa has been with TVA most of her career and has served in various capacities. She has experience in customer service, marketing, demand response products, TVA real estate services and IT project management. She is passionate about providing resources to underserved communities while also educating families on ways to conserve energy in order to lower their utilities bills.
