Lauren Westmoreland is the Vice President, Energy & Sustainability at Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future. She collaborates with SAHF members to continually seek new ways to ensure the transition toward a low-carbon future is one that ensures equitable benefits to residents and our communities. Ms. Westmoreland builds resources, highlights member successes and convenes peer exchange in an effort to increase adoption of sustainability, resilience and low carbon practices, models, and solutions. These solutions empower affordable housing providers and residents to be part of the solution to climate change.
Prior to joining SAHF, Ms. Westmoreland lead the Enterprise Green Communities state and local policy initiative at Enterprise Community Partners and developed and lead the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance’s Built Environment portfolio. Ms. Westmoreland served as an AmeriCorps where she became a HERS Rater for SystemVision, an energy efficiency program serving the North Carolina single-family affordable housing sector.
Ms. Westmoreland is a Registered Architect in North Carolina a LEED AP. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Architecture from North Carolina State University.
