Madeline Salzman is a Management and Programs Analyst in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of State and Community Energy Programs. She is currently a Program Advisor supporting rollout of the Inflation Reduction Act Home Energy Rebates programs. In her previous role in the Building Technologies Office, she led efforts to increase access to information on energy efficient technologies, including through the Home Energy Score program and Better Buildings Workforce Accelerator. Madeline joined the U.S. Department of Energy in 2015 as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow through the Oak Ride Institute for Science and Education (ORISE). She also serves on a partial detail as a Clean Energy Workforce Advisor for DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Prior to joining U.S. DOE, Madeline worked on residential energy issues in India, Arkansas, and Missouri. Madeline holds a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service.
