Paul Francisco is the Director of the Indoor Climate Research & Training division (ICRT) of the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission (RPC), and also has an appointment at Colorado State University as a Sr. Research Associate. At RPC, Paul runs an IREC-accredited weatherization training center, and he teaches building diagnostics and healthy homes. Paul also conducts research on issues related to energy efficiency and healthy homes in the context of weatherization, with a goal of supporting programs in delivering homes that are both efficient and healthy. Paul also performs evaluations of the impact of weatherization on energy use and operational costs, including in-field outcomes of electrification. Paul is the immediate past chair of the Building Performance Association board of directors, was previously a member of the Building Performance Institute board of directors, and has been a member of the ASHRAE Standard 62.2 committee since 2005.
