Session Description(s): This session brings together a panel of experts who will share their experiences and insights on building contractor and workforce capacity for grant programs. The panel will discuss effective training strategies, workforce development programs, and contractor certification programs to ensure that contractors and workers have the skills and knowledge needed to complete lead abatement and healthy homes work safely and effectively.
Following the panel presentation, attendees will participate in round table workshop discussions with the panelists and other attendees. During these discussions, participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and challenges with contractor and workforce training, and receive feedback and guidance from the experts.
By the end of this session, attendees will have gained valuable insights and practical strategies for building contractor and workforce capacity for lead hazard control and healthy homes grant programs. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with other professionals in the field and build relationships that can support ongoing success in their programs.
