The Department of Energy (DOE), as the funder of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), carries the responsibility of ensuring that low-income households receive the highest quality of energy efficiency retrofits possible. As you can imagine, this can be a daunting task. One of the methods used by DOE to accomplish this task is monitoring. To accomplish monitoring, DOE utilizes Programmatic and Technical Project Officers. During this session, DOE leadership will describe not only the need for monitoring but the process by which it is accomplished.
