This session will explore DOE's new residential contractor training program, funded with $200 million from the Inflation Reduction Act. We will discuss efforts to connect worker training efforts with new DOE funding streams to fund the projects these workers will deliver, such as the home energy rebate programs. The session will also examine how DOE residential contractor training program funds can augment WAP training resources to provide additional training support to contractors.
