President Mincin Insulation Service, Inc. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Many programs have historically had to defer a high percentage of jobs as a result of homes having structural barriers to weatherization such as knob and tube wiring, roof leaks, and basement moisture issues. These issues are typically not addressed through traditional weatherization funding sources. This session will detail the process one Company took to evaluate, propose, receive approval and implement a Health & Safety pilot to address these issues so homes can be weatherized. Now in its second year, Columbia Gas of PA can share their struggles and successes in order to address some of its highest usage customers to reduce their energy burdens and improve quality of living.
