This class explains heat pump technology using very simple and unique analogies and diagrams. Before a homeowner can understand how a heat pump works, they must first understand why we heat and cool our homes. This presentation will lay the ground work for understanding why heat pumps are much more efficient than other heating technologies.

Be able to use simple diagrams and concepts to explain how the refrigeration cycle can move heat from colder to warmer fluids
