Recent research and tank designs have combined to make installing heat pump water heaters in volumetrically constrained spaces easier and faster. The session will cover tips and tricks for installing tanks that help lower noise levels and meet customers demand for hot water. The session will also cover the energy impacts of various ducting strategies as well discuss the impact of space heat interaction, better known as the "are we robbing Peter to pay Paul?" problem.
Learning Objectives:
By attending this session, attendees will:
Learn to overcome space limitations of install sites
Learn the energy impacts of various ducting and venting techniques
Learn about the space heat interactions of HPWHs and various install locations
