Encouraging Contractor Participation in LMI and Disadvantaged Communities Programs

The session will explore innovative and comprehensive strategies and approaches to serving low to moderate-income (LMI) populations and hard to reach disadvantaged communities. Presenters from three outstanding home performance organizations will share information about their LMI programs and why they are effective. Presenters will also explain why contractors (including minority contractors) should participate in serving LMI populations and will explore the differences in serving LMI populations vs. serving market rate consumers. Attendees will discover methods to integrate DEI measures into program goals and delivery. An interactive Q&A session will follow the presentation providing attendees the opportunity to ask questions.
