BPI staff will provide an industry update for attendees of the latest information on updates to BPI standards and certifications. Attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback and ask important questions related to certifications and standards and the role they play now and in the future. We will discuss the update process for the Building Analyst and Envelope certifications that led to a new career path model with a Building Analyst Technician (BA-T) and a Building Analyst Professional (BA-P). We will also discuss the development of a new certificate of knowledge designation based on collaboration between BPI, the Energy Futures Group and the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP).
