Contractor voices were critical to the passage of the home energy rebate programs in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Our direct engagement with policymakers through Virtual Lobby Days led by E4TheFuture and the Building Performance Association helped us shape the IRA to support the home performance industry, including the only dedicated workforce development dollars included in the entire package. Advocacy does not have to be a time-consuming endeavor to be impactful - there are meaningful ways of ensuring that your voice is heard without taking significant time away from your business. This session will discuss ways the home performance community continues to mobilize and will explore additional ways you can help advance the home performance industry.
